Eero Saarinen

Back when affordable furniture was finding its style, Eero Saarinen brought a new idea to the table – mass produced furniture inspired by nature. It sounds like too big a contrast but it worked wonderfully well. And that’s why his Tulip design Stools and Tables – reproduced here – are still so very popular. The thin stems and generous curves give these pieces real elegance and élan. And those bold monochrome colours now come with bright, cheery cushions in a rainbow of colours.
